The ALA community of data providers extends across the country and there are many community groups, local councils and individuals affected. We are particularly mindful of the people who care for, monitor and survey the biodiverse bushlands, coastal reserves and private lands that have been damaged. Our thoughts are with you.
Over the coming months, the ALA will be working with relevant authorities, including States and Territories to ensure that data and tools are made available to support decision making in the recovery and rehabilitation of areas damaged by bushfires.
